The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture Laboratory of Anthropology Library (LOA Library) is a research-level library dedicated to the study of Native cultures, anthropology and archaeology of the Southwestern United States, Mexico and Central America, with the concentration of its holdings on the greater Southwest of the United States. The Library opened upon the completion of the Laboratory of Anthropology in 1930.

The LOA Librarian administers all the operations, and performs and delivers all services of the Library.  The LOA Librarian also acts as the LOA Library Koha Integrated Library System administrator.  Day-to-day collection management functions and special projects are carried out with the invaluable support of dedicated volunteers.

Online and onsite booksale operations are carried out with the invaluable support of Joan Lamarque, retired librarian and bookdealer and other volunteers.
